The customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of rented equipment while it is under their control.

The customer should:

  • Follow site safety procedures
  • Prevent unauthorized use
  • Protect equipment from avoidable damage
  • Notify us promptly of faults or damage
  • Stop using equipment where continued operation could create a safety risk

10. Damage, Loss, or Misuse

The customer may be responsible for loss, theft, damage, misuse, unauthorized modification, or abnormal wear and tear occurring while equipment is under the customer’s responsibility, subject to the applicable rental agreement and applicable law.

Customers should report damage, faults, accidents, or loss as soon as reasonably possible.

The specific responsibility for damage, repair, replacement, or associated costs will depend on the circumstances and the applicable rental agreement.

11. Equipment Breakdown or Fault

If equipment develops a fault during a rental, customers should contact us as soon as possible and, where appropriate, stop using the equipment.

Customers should not attempt unauthorized repairs or modifications.

Where reasonably possible, we may inspect, repair, replace, or otherwise address equipment issues in accordance with the applicable rental arrangement.

12. Technical Specifications

Technical specifications are provided to assist customers, contractors, engineers, safety personnel, and other relevant parties in evaluating equipment requirements.
